We spent the bank holiday weekend at Heath retreat.

Rob was amazing at organising it all, with great communication and recommendations for places near by.

Mike greeted us (or rather Digby and then Mike) as soon as we arrived. Very friendly and showed us around the house, pool and gardens. He made us feel very welcome.

All the facilities in the bungalow are fabulous. Great showers with great water pressure. It’s quite a lot larger than you expect from pictures.

Kitchen had everything you would need.

The main thing for me in the house was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Wherever we go I always take my cleaning things with me to re clean the bathrooms and kitchen, particularly since covid. This was the first place that I haven’t done this. It was spotless!

The highlights for us were the pool. In fact we didn’t leave at all to do any exploring as planned as we were all just so happy walking around the estate, playing tennis and spending the day at the pool. There’s ample seating around the pool that we even took our lunch up to pool. There’s also a fridge in the pool house so we put our drinks in there to keep cool.

Mike also invited us to use all the space including bbq and fire pits as we liked.

Also I don’t think I could write a review without a mention to the glorious, flip flop stealing Digby. He’s so friendly and cheeky – but very well trained. He put a smile on our face every time he popped up. He does not bark or break the peaceful quiet of the countryside. My little girl who can be nervous of new dogs was seeking him out and playing with him.

We liked it so much we’ve already booked to come back next bank holiday weekend. Thank you all. In the guest book there are also rave reviews about jane’s cakes – we may have to order one of those next time around. Thank you. ‘
